The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training offers Mastermind scholarships to students worldwide who want to study master’s programs in Flanders and Brussels. If you have been dreaming of studying in Belgium, then this is an opportunity you should grab with both hands.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Master Mind Scholarship, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Strong Academic Performance. A Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- Proficiency in English.
- Applicants should not be currently enrolled at a Flemish higher education institution, with the exception of international students enrolled in a preparatory program leading to a master’s program in September.
- Students enrolling in only preparatory programs, bridging programs, or distance learning programs are not eligible.
- Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, but their previous degree should be from a higher education institution located outside Flanders.
- Students cannot combine the Master Mind Scholarship with another scholarship from the Flemish government or an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.

Scholarship Value
The Master Mind Scholarship provides the following benefits:
- A grant of €9,600 per academic year (equivalent to 60 ECTS credits).
- A tuition fee waiver, except for a minimal administrative enrolment fee.
Where and how to apply
To apply for the Master Mind Scholarship, follow these steps:
- Submit a complete application for the relevant Master’s program at UHasselt, including all required documents, before the program’s application deadline.
- Complete the Master Mind Scholarship application form by March 15, 2023. Ensure that you upload the following documents in the application form:
- Two recommendation letters from professors from your previous university, current university, or recent employer. These letters must be written in English and combined into one PDF document for upload.
Note: If you are applying for the Master of Management or Master of Transportation Sciences programs, you must also upload your admission letter from Hasselt University.
