The University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship aimed at recognizing outstanding academic achievements among new international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students.
This development is to help foreign students who want to study in the USA reduce their cost of education. This is not also an easy-to-get scholarship, as the academic credentials of applicants will form a larger part of their final decision on beneficiaries who get the financial aid.

Eligibility Criteria for Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship
- For undergraduate programs: A minimum ATAR of 99.9 (or a comparable score).
- For undergraduate or postgraduate programs: A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.9 on a 7.0 scale (or a comparable score).
- For undergraduate or postgraduate programs: A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.8 on a 7.0 scale for studies completed at the University of Adelaide (or a comparable score for studies completed at an Australian university within Australia).
- If an applicant is eligible for different scholarships offered by the University of Adelaide, they will receive the one with the highest value among those they are eligible for.

Scholarship Value
In each Faculty, only two scholarships will be granted to deserving students, each offering a 50% reduction in tuition fees.
Where and how to apply
You don’t need to submit a separate application for the University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship. It will be awarded automatically to eligible students.
Once you’re accepted into the university and meet the scholarship criteria, you’ll be considered. The faculty will select scholarship recipients from the list of eligible students, and successful applicants will be notified in writing within fourteen days of faculty approval.
Deadline
The closing date for the University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship is the admission deadline which is 31 May 2024.
