Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) is a renowned research university situated in Leuven. Every year, the university offers scholarships to dedicated students seeking to pursue a master’s degree program.

The Science@Leuven Scholarships are designed for brilliant international students who wish to enroll in an international master’s program offered by the Faculty of Science at KU Leuven.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet and provide evidence of the following criteria:
- They have not previously studied or worked at the University of Leuven.
- Applicants must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English through standardized English language tests.
- They possess a bachelor’s degree from a foreign university that qualifies them for admission to the master’s program they are applying for.
- They have not obtained a master’s degree or PhD.
- Demonstration of excellent academic performance during their previous studies.
- They must exhibit a strong motivation to pursue a master’s program at the Faculty of Science of K.U.Leuven.

Scholarship Value
The scholarship amount can be as high as 10,000 Euros for a one-year period. They cover the full tuition fees, including health and insurance fees. However, it is important to note that living expenses are not included.
Where and how to apply
In addition to applying for university admission, applicants must also submit a separate scholarship application for the Science at Leuven Scholarships.
To apply for the Science at Leuven Scholarships, applicants should first submit an application to their chosen program at the University of Leuven, upload the required documents through the KU Leuven application portal, take a screenshot of the confirmation page, and then complete the Scholarship Application Form on the official scholarship website, ensuring all necessary documents and information are provided as per the guidelines.
