Lagos State Scholarship and Bursary Awards 2024

The Lagos State Scholarship / Bursary registration is open to all indigenous students of Lagos State who are studying in tertiary institutions including polytechnics and colleges of education across Nigeria.

The scholarship and bursary award could come in handy for students who are struggling to meet payment terms. It is also a way of ensuring that students who have performed brilliantly are well rewarded.

If you are an Indigenous student, this is a scholarship you want to apply for and we will be providing every detail you need to know about the Scholarship.

Who can apply?

The scholarship is available only to indigenes of Lagos State. If you are not from Lagos State, there is no reason to apply as your application will be denied.

However, you can always check for other Scholarships available in Nigeria.

Program of Study

Programs or Courses offered at Technical Colleges, Undergraduate, Master’s, Ph.D., Law Schools, and Maritime Schools are accepted.

Eligibility

Below are the requirements that you must meet to qualify for the Lagos State Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be indigenous students.
  • The Scholarship must be for an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria.
  • The applicants must provide the following documents — A recent Passport Photograph, Valid Means of Identification, LASSRA, Valid Matric NO, and NIN.
  • A fee is required to apply for the Lagos State Bursary & Scholarship Awards.

Cost of Application for all levels

Access to Application Forms will be granted upon the successful receipt of the required fees. Below are the specific details regarding application fees:

  • Bursary: N2500
  • Scholarship: N3500
  • Bursary (Law School): N4000
  • Bursary (Maritime Academy): N4000
  • Scholarship (Masters): N5000
  • Scholarship (PHD): N5000

Indigenous students from Lagos State, Nigeria.

Host Institution

Any tertiary institution in Nigeria.

Scholarship Value

The following amounts have been established as the amount payable to each approved beneficiary, depending on the category of their award:

  • Technical Colleges: N100,000
  • Polytechnic/Colleges of Education: N200,000
  • First Degree: N200,000
  • Masters Degree: N300,000
  • Doctorate Degree: N400,000

The application will be closed on Friday, 30th June; 2023 (Currently Closed).
