1. Get admission into a Danish Institution

4. Get your Registration Certificate/Residence Document
If you are from EU/EEA or Switzerland, you won’t be needing a student visa or residence permit. However, you will need to make an appointment at SIRI (main office) or SIRI in the International Citizen Service at International House to apply for an EU residence document within 3 months of entry into Denmark.
The EU residence document, otherwise known as a registration certificate, is evidence that you are a citizen of an EU country.
Non-EU citizens will need to apply for a resident permit/residence permit. The document upon giving to you will signify that you have the right to enter and study in Denmark.
It is important for you to take note of the mild difference between the Student Visa (Residence Permit) and EU Residence Document (Registration certificate). Can I Work With a Denmark Student Visa?
International students studying in Denmark can work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year, and full-time (more than 20 hours) during the months of June, July, and August usually known for breaks.
