Bauchi State University, also known as BASUG, is a state-owned university located in Bauchi, Nigeria. It was established in 2010 by the Bauchi State Government under the leadership of Governor Isa Yuguda. The university was created to address the growing demand for higher education in Bauchi State and to provide opportunities for the youth to pursue academic and professional aspirations within the state.
BASUG started with a vision to become a leading institution of learning, research, and innovation in Nigeria.
