Elizade University, commonly referred to as ElizadeU, is a private university located in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, Nigeria. It was established by Chief Michael Ade Ojo, the founder and chairman of Elizade Nigeria Limited, a leading automobile dealership and assembly company in Nigeria. The university was founded in 2012 and received its operational license from the Nigerian University Commission (NUC) in February 2013.
The establishment of Elizade University was motivated by Chief Michael Ade Ojo’s vision to contribute to the development of quality education in Nigeria. The university is named after his wife, Elizabeth Wuraola Ojo, who played a significant role in the conceptualization and establishment of the institution.
Elizade University aims to provide a conducive environment for learning, research, and innovation in various academic disciplines. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across faculties such as Engineering, Basic and Applied Sciences, Humanities, Social and Management Sciences, and Law.
