The American University of Nigeria (AUN) is a private university located in Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria. It was founded in 2004 by Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria, and established with the aim of providing a world-class education to students in Nigeria and across Africa.
AUN is modeled after American universities and operates on the American style of higher education. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs across various fields including business administration, communications, computer science, international relations, and more.
