List of UNILESA Courses and Admission Requirements

The University of Ilesa (UNILESA), located in Osun State, Nigeria, was established on September 27th, 2022, with the signing of the law that officially established the institution. Its inception followed the upgrade of the former Osun State College of Education, Ilesa, to a fully-fledged university.

The primary objective behind elevating the former college to a university status was to enhance access to education and to revitalize the educational sector by emphasizing entrepreneurial education. The university aims to produce graduates equipped with the skills and mindset to become job creators and entrepreneurs. It also seeks to leverage the mining and agricultural opportunities in the region, fostering the development of start-up companies, generating employment, and contributing to the economic growth of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) officially recognized the University of Ilesa, Osun State, on November 10th, 2022, marking it as the 60th state-owned university and the 220th university in the Nigerian University System.

This article will feature a comprehensive list of all the programmes available at UNILESA. It will also include links to the WAEC and JAMB Subject Requirements for each program, providing valuable assistance as you prepare for admission.
