First Technical University (Tech-U) Ibadan is a state-owned technical university located in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. It was established by the Oyo State Government under the leadership of Governor Abiola Ajimobi and was formally recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in December 2017.
Tech-U was conceived to bridge the gap in technical education in Nigeria by offering high-quality, technology-driven education that focuses on practical skills development and entrepreneurship.
