Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), formerly known as Ogun State University (OSU), is a state-owned university located in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. The university was established on July 7, 1982, by the Ogun State Government under the leadership of the then governor, Chief Olabisi Onabanjo, after whom the institution was later named in his honor.

The main campus of OOU is situated in Ago-Iwoye, while additional campuses are located in Ayetoro, Ijebu-Igbo, and Sagamu. Initially, the university operated as an autonomous higher education institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various faculties and departments.
