The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) was established on 5 February 1964 in Kaduna, Nigeria with the primary mission of training officers for the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, and Nigerian Air Force. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are awarded a university degree (BSc, BEng, BA) and commissioned into the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
