1 Can I change the names on my NECO result?
Of course, you will be able to change names on your NECO result provided you are not replacing it with a completely different name. You can rearrange, correct small typos and even expand initials. Any attempt that may suggest a shady claim may not be attended to.

- Validation list/Reference letter from the school Principal
- Photo Album for Internal candidates/Printout of the result
- Amount payable to NECO TSA ACCOUNT: N3,500.00
3 How to change Name on NECO result
As it stands now, the correction is only for those who sit for exams between 2000 to 2018. All candidates can follow the instructions below:
Obtain a reference letter from your school principal
If you sat for an SSCE external exam, you will need to visit your school to obtain a reference letter from the school. The principal is in a better position to help your sort it out. If you are a private candidate, you should go to the WAEC Office close to you that is if you have met other requirements.
Make payment to NECO Account
To process your request, you will need to visit https://payments.neco.gov.ng/payment to make a payment. When making a payment make sure you paid using the correct option. On the list, you will find SSCE Internal (for school candidates), and SSCE External (for private candidates) among others. Select the appropriate one to make online payments. Do print out the receipt as you will need it.
