Anan University Postgraduate Courses & Admission Requirements

Anan University, Kwall, Plateau, was established in 2021 with a clear vision and purpose. The idea to establish a specialized university for Accountancy was driven by the motivation of the current Governing Council of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). This vision stemmed from the desire to build upon the reputation and achievements of the Nigerian College of Accountancy in providing professional Accounting Education and certification to Nigerian Accountants.

The establishment of Anan University was also aimed at securing the future of Accountancy and Accounting professionals by creating an institution dedicated solely to the study, teaching, and research in Accountancy and allied subjects. The motivation further arose from the need to consolidate diverse resources and human expertise in a single location committed to the advancement of Accounting, a feat that no single university in Nigeria presently achieves.

The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) embarked on a process to actualize the dream of establishing Anan University with the support of all its members and after wide consultations. To oversee the planning and takeoff activities for the establishment of the university, a Planning and Implementation Committee (PIC) composed of seasoned academics and other professionals was appointed by the Proprietor of the ANAN University.

This article will feature a comprehensive list of all the programmes available at Anan University. It will also include links to the WAEC and JAMB Subject Requirements for each program, providing valuable assistance as you prepare for admission.
