The Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN) is an institution established to provide quality education in Nigeria, particularly in the field of maritime studies and related disciplines. It was founded by the Nigerian Navy and received its operational license from the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2017. However, In December 2022, the National Assembly passed a Bill to change the University into a regular public university. Former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR signed this Bill into law on February 8, 2023, officially establishing the Admiralty University of Nigeria in Ibusa through the Admiralty University of Nigeria, Ibusa (Establishment) Act 2022

ADUN is located in Ibusa, Delta State, Nigeria, and aims to become a leading institution in Africa for maritime education, research, and development. The university offers undergraduate programs in various fields such as Maritime Transport and Logistics Management, Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Naval Architecture, and Marine Environmental Management.
