Redeemer’s University (RUN) is a private university located in Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. It was established by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in 2005. The university was founded with a vision to provide quality education firmly rooted in Christian values.
The idea for the university emerged from the desire of the RCCG leadership to establish an institution that would offer holistic education, integrating academic excellence with spiritual growth and character development. The university’s mission is to nurture students intellectually, spiritually, morally, and socially, preparing them to make meaningful contributions to society.
Redeemer’s University started with three faculties: Humanities, Management Sciences, and Natural Sciences. Over the years, it has expanded its academic programs to include various disciplines across multiple faculties, including Law, Social Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, and Clinical Sciences.
