Hensard University, located in Toru-Orua, Sagbama, Bayelsa, Nigeria, is a unique private university licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2023 and promoted by the Henry Seriake Dickson Foundation (HSDF).
His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson (CON), the Founder of Hensard University, serves as the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, making it the first private university in Bayelsa State.
Established with a vision of academic, research, and entrepreneurial excellence, Hensard University aims to bridge the gaps between academic certifications, skills development, and practical industrial knowledge application for societal development.
In pursuit of its vision, Hensard University integrates entrepreneurship education, encouraging students to become entrepreneurs from their second year through practical involvement in business management under school guidance.
The goal is to equip every Hensard student with academic, personal, and practical skills to not only enter the labor market but also create jobs and be employers of labor.
