Merit-based scholarships are available to eligible international applicants who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and achieved high scores on the necessary entrance exams.
President’s Scholarships are granted to exceptionally qualified first-year international students based on their talents, interests, and academic accomplishments.

To get the Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Applicants must be a student of the school.
Except for Financial aid which is basically need-based, they must also have outstanding academic achievement and test scores on the required entrance exams.
President’s Scholarships are offered to students based on talents, interests, and academic achievements.

Scholarship Value
For the Merit-Based Scholarships, it can vary in value, ranging from $16,000 to $30,000 per year, and can be renewed for up to four years.
President’s Scholarships provide two full-tuition scholarships to exceptionally talented and accomplished first-year international students, selected based on their skills, interests, and academic accomplishments. These are paid year by year.
Where and how to apply
Students who submit their admissions applications will be automatically reviewed for these scholarships. In other words, there will not be any need to complete a separate form to get the Scholarship.
Deadline
The deadline to apply for the Illinois Wesleyan Scholarships for the Fall 2024 term is February 15, 2024.
