1 Program of Study
Graduate/Master’s degree programs at any recognized university in the UK, Africa, or Anywhere.
2 Eligibility
In addition to the selection priorities, Applicants must also fulfill the following minimum criteria and conditions:
- Priority is granted to applicants of exceptional merit, considering factors such as academic proficiency, financial need, potential for development impact, leadership abilities, and personal qualities.
- Academically, Applicants should have an outstanding first degree, with a minimum grade equivalent to a British upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree or higher.
- Postgraduate Programme applicants must have at least two years of relevant professional or volunteer experience acquired after completing their undergraduate degree.
- Applicants should be refugees, displaced, or affected by conflict.
- Must also be a resident in any of the eligible countries.
- You must agree to return to your current country within one month after completing your studies or within the validity period of your study visa, whichever is shorter.
3 Target Countries
International Students from the following countries – Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, or Uganda can apply for the Scholarship.
4 Host Institution
Any recognized college or university in the UK, Africa, or Online.
5 Scholarship Value
The Postgraduate Programme scholarship, whether pursued in the UK, Africa, or online, will provide the following benefits:
- Full funding for academic tuition fees
- A maintenance stipend throughout the study duration.
- Return airfare between the candidate’s country of residence and the scholarship country (for overseas scholarships)
- Leadership development training
- Participation in themed conferences and workshops
- Welfare and pastoral support throughout the program of study
- Orientation on crucial topics such as adapting to life in the host country, coping with cultural differences, managing finances, studying methods, and accessing essential services.
6 Application Instruction
To apply for Windle Trust International, use the online application portal. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in their respective countries.
Once selected, Windle Trust International will collaborate with you to identify suitable options and offer guidance to maximize your scholarship opportunities. This includes assisting with university applications, and scholarship scheme applications, and providing consultation on choosing the right university and course.
