The history of Westland University dates back to its establishment in 1984 by Dr. Eng. Wole Adepoju as Cedaespring Technical Institute. Over the years, the institution evolved and expanded its academic offerings, eventually transitioning into a full-fledged university in 2019. It was granted a provisional license by the Federal Executive Council to commence academic programs in the same year.
