General admission requirements for 2024/2025 UNIMED Post UTME registration process
To be eligible for the exam, applicants who registered for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) must meet the following requirements:
1. Academic Credentials
UTME candidates must have five (5) credits in O’Level examinations or their equivalents, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects, at no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry students must also satisfy the O’Level requirements with other relevant qualifications as required by their chosen department.
However, the general requirements for Direct Entry Students are at least ‘A’ level passes at the A’Level Exam awarded by Cambridge, Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMB or IJMBE), Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), or Institute of Baccalaureate with three other credit passes in the SSCE.
NCE Graduates would need credit passes in two major subjects in the NCE alongside three other credit passes in SSCE, NTC/NBC.
Also, DE Candidates with a minimum credit grade obtained from Polytechnic or Diploma Certificate Awarding Universities are eligible to take the Post UTME Exam provided they satisfy other requirements. For some departments, upper credit may be required for admission,
2. Jamb Cut Off Mark
All candidates must have scored a minimum Jamb cut-off mark as officially announced by the University. It should also be noted that there may not be a uniform cut-off mark for all courses or programmes offered by the school. Therefore, it is necessary to review the UNIMED Cut Off Marks list for each department.
3. Age Requirement
All candidates sitting for the Post UTME Screening Exam must be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 31 of the admission year to be eligible for consideration.
4. CBT Screening Fee
All candidates are to make a payment of two thousand naira (₦2,000) for the Post UTME Exam Form. Payment can be completed online through the payment gateway available on the school’s website.
Payment can also be made using credit/debit card payment, cash at the bank using the print-out from the portal, or direct bank account debit whereby an internet banking platform may be required.

How to Apply for UNIMED Post UTME Screening 2024/2025
Follow these steps to apply:
- Visit the school website at https://www.unimed.edu.ng/ to apply for UNIMED Post UTME.
- Click on Admission.
- Click on Post UTME registration link to access the Post-UTME Portal;
- Click on PAYMENT to make payment via the online payment system using Naira DEBIT Cards;
- After payment, Click Here to Print Payment Receipt
- On the Portal again, enter your JAMB Registration Number and Payment Transaction ID as Password to access the page.
- Complete the basic information page. You must provide a valid email address and phone number.
- Make sure to print the completed registration form, payment receipt, and exam schedule.
