The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship Program provides a three-year leadership program that aims to train Engaged Leaders. The program will assist Beneficiaries in engaging with diverse perspectives, acquiring valuable leadership skills, and building networks across sectors for success in civic leadership.

Eligibility
- You must have been accepted or be in the first or second year of a full-time doctoral program at any Canadian university, which will conclude in 2026 or beyond, to be eligible for the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship.
- Applicants need to show proof of their excellent academic performance and intellectual abilities.
- Applicants are eligible as long as their research topic relates to Human Rights and Dignity, Responsible Citizenship, Canada and the World, and People and their Natural Environment.
- As stated, applicants are welcome from all fields, however, they need to demonstrate how their research topic is connected to one or more of the Four Themes.
- Canadian citizens and permanent residents can also apply for the Scholarship.

Scholarship Value
$40,000 per year plus an allowance for research and travel which is up to $20,000 per year will be provided for 3 years.
