PEN Resource University (PRU), established by Pen Resource Academy (PRA), stands as a pioneering private, co-educational institution in Gombe, Gombe State, within the north-eastern region of Nigeria. Its establishment was approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on April 6, 2022, and subsequently received licensure from the Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC) in May 2022.
Being the first private university in Gombe State and the third in the entire north-eastern region, Pen Resource University was founded by Dr. Sani Jauro under the umbrella of Pen Resource Academy. Located in the village of Lafiyawo along Gombe-Bauchi road, Gombe, Gombe State, the university focuses on imparting digital and other twenty-first-century skills to its students.
Pen Resource University is dedicated to offering a highly relevant and top-quality education to aspiring and practicing professionals, managers, and entrepreneurs in both the private and public sectors.
