Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) is a state-owned university located in Katsina, Nigeria. It was established by the Katsina State Government under the leadership of Governor Ibrahim Shema. The university was named after the late Umaru Musa Yar’adua, who served as the President of Nigeria from 2007 until his death in 2010.
