Taraba State University (TASU) is a state-owned tertiary institution located in Jalingo, the capital city of Taraba State, Nigeria. It was established in 2008 by the administration of then Governor Danbaba Suntai with the aim of providing quality higher education to the people of Taraba State and beyond.
The university began operations with the intake of its pioneer students in various faculties and departments. Over the years, TASU has expanded its academic programs and infrastructure, striving to meet the educational needs of its growing student population.
