National Open University of Nigeria Courses

List of NOUN Courses (Undergraduate & Postgraduate)

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) was established on July 22, 1983, by the Nigerian government. It eventually closed in 1984 but was later reopened in 2002 as a Federal Open and Distance Learning (ODL) institution. NOUN became Nigeria’s first Open and Distance Learning university, offering flexible education to people like working professionals, stay-at-home parents, and those who can’t go to regular universities.

NOUN uses open and distance learning, combining print, online, and face-to-face methods for teaching. It has many undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields like arts, social sciences, management, education, health, and agriculture.

If you are a student and you prefer a university that offers flexible methods, then NOUN would no doubt be a suitable option for you. This post will contain a complete list of all Programmes (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) offered by NOUN and links to WAEC and JAMB Subject Requirements for all programmes which will no doubt be of valuable aid as you plan for admission.

Note: Understand that Admission Requirements might differ in some universities. In such instances, checking the PDF version of the JAMB Brochure for precise details is advisable. You can also access Jamb Subject Combination for General Requirements.
