As the admission process for the upcoming year begins, First Technical University, Ibadan is also extending scholarship opportunities to exceptional students, both incoming and those still under consideration.
This program was given a nod by the university’s Chancellor, Chief Tunde Afolabi (MFR), who serves as the Chairman of AMNI International Petroleum to uphold his dream of a better society through education.
The scholarship is open to everyone. It does matter your nationality, state of origin, tribe, sex, religion, or social status. If you meet the requirements, you will have the same privileges as others.

Eligibility
The scholarship can be very competitive. Being a s merit-based offer, it is equally important that fresh students as well as others meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must have either accepted admission or be under consideration for admission to one of the degree programs at First Technical University, Ibadan.
- Candidates are required to have obtained a minimum JAMB score of 160 in the UTME.
- All applicants must achieve a satisfactory performance in the University Scholarship Screening Examination.
- They must have successfully passed Ordinary Level examinations in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, or Geography, achieving at least a Credit level in each subject, all in a single sitting.
- For Direct Entry students, a minimum requirement includes obtaining at least a Credit grade at the advanced level in three relevant science subjects or possessing a National Diploma with an Upper Credit grade.
- To continue being a beneficiary of the Scholarship, you must maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.50 to remain eligible for the annual renewal of the scholars
- Shortlisted candidates must participate in an aptitude test.
