Scholarship Value
Humber College has 3 sets that international students can take advantage of to cover their costs, namely: Student Scholarships, Entrance Scholarships, and Bursaries.
1. Student Scholarships
These scholarships encompass a variety of criteria, such as academic excellence, active engagement within the community, leadership endeavors, participation in extracurricular activities, and occasionally, assistance for those facing financial challenges.
There are hundreds of scholarships available in this category and valued at $1,000 or more which is believed will do some part.
2. Entrance Scholarships
Under the Entrance Scholarships, we have the Degree Entrance Scholarship Average Requirement and Degree Transfer Scholarships.
Degree Entrance Scholarship is offered to high school graduates based on their academic accomplishments. These scholarships are granted automatically. Additionally, some scholarships under this set are renewable every year if you maintain an average of 80 percent or higher. Worths up to $4,000.
Humber provides automatic degree transfer scholarships to students entering any Humber degree program after completing a one-year Ontario college certificate or a two or three-year diploma from a publicly-funded college with a GPA of 80 percent or higher.
It’s worth noting that these certificates and diplomas don’t necessarily need to be related to your chosen degree program, and they don’t affect your eligibility for advanced standing or transfer credit. The best part is that no application is required – you’ll be considered automatically. Worth $1,500 for certificate programs and $2,500 for diploma programs.
3. Bursaries
Humber is committed to supporting the student’s educational journey by offering a variety of bursaries to help them manage their finances effectively.
These bursaries are available for Certificate, Diploma, and Degree programs and are primarily awarded based on financial need. Up to $5,000.00 available
