Godfrey Okoye University (GO University) is a private university located in Enugu, Nigeria. It was established by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu in 2009, with the aim of providing quality higher education grounded in Christian values. The university is named after Bishop Godfrey Igwebuike Okoye, the pioneer Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, known for his contributions to education and community development.
The university began its academic activities in 2009 with just two faculties: Management and Social Sciences, and Natural and Applied Sciences. Over the years, it has expanded its academic offerings to include programs in various disciplines such as Arts, Education, Law, and Health Sciences.
