Fountain University (FUO) is a privately-owned university located in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. It was established in 2007 by the Nasrul-lahi-li Fatih Society (NASFAT), a leading Islamic organization in Nigeria. The university was founded with the aim of providing quality higher education based on Islamic principles and values, while also promoting academic excellence, moral uprightness, and societal development.
Fountain University began academic activities in January 2008 with its first set of students enrolled in various undergraduate programs across faculties such as Natural and Applied Sciences, Management and Social Sciences, Humanities, and Law.
Since its establishment, Fountain University has continued to expand its academic offerings and infrastructure, with a commitment to providing a conducive learning environment for students. The university also places a strong emphasis on research, community service, and moral education in line with its mission to produce graduates who are intellectually sound, morally upright, and socially responsible.
