All undergraduate programs offered by the Participating School, Carleton University are qualified for the Prestige Scholarship.
Eligibility
- For prestige scholarships, applicants must have achieved an admission average of 90 percent or better. A decision can also be made based on extra-curricular activities or leadership roles taken by taken in high school.
- Only students directly from high school or from the College of General and Professional Teaching (CEGEP) can apply for this scholarship.
- They must be the first time they are applying for the undergraduate program.

Scholarship Value
- One Collins Prestige Scholarship: Full tuition in first, second, third, and fourth year
- Jay Woo and CAA Scholarship: $20,000 ($5,000 x four years)
One Riordon Scholarship: Full tuition in first, second, third, and fourth year - Ten Chancellor’s Scholarships: $30,000 ($7,500 x four years).
- Seven Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarships: $21,500 ($6,500 in the first year and $5,000 in the second, third, and fourth year).
- Three Carleton University Scholarships of Excellence: $20,000 ($5,000 x four years)
- Two Carleton University SHAD Scholarships: $20,000 ($5,000 x four years).
Application Instruction
- Interested high school students should send their applications through email to [email protected]. Only two documents will be sent, they are an application and a reference letter.
- The reference letter must be signed by the referee.
- The application letter must also carry your student number.
Deadline
The Carleton Prestige Scholarship is on March 1, 2023 (The application is currently closed). Once the website is opened for application, it is advisable for applicants to apply as early as possible.
