Al-Hikmah University, located in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, is a private university founded in 2005 by AbdulRaeem Oladimeji Islamic Foundation (AROIF), a non-profit organization. The university was established with the aim of providing qualitative and moral education to individuals irrespective of their religious background.
Al-Hikmah University started operations with just seven academic programmes in various disciplines including Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Over the years, it has expanded its academic offerings to include a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in fields such as Law, Medicine, Engineering, Business Administration, and Education, among others.
