Adeleke University (AU) is a private tertiary institution located in Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. It was established by Chief Adedeji Adeleke, a Nigerian business mogul and philanthropist, in 2011. The university was named in honor of Chief Adedeji Adeleke’s late father, Alhaji Adeleke Adeleke, who was a renowned educationist and philanthropist in his own right.
The vision behind the establishment of Adeleke University is to provide quality education that is accessible, affordable, and relevant to the needs of society. The university’s mission is to produce graduates who are well-rounded, intellectually sound, morally upright, and equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to contribute positively to their communities and the world at large.
Adeleke University started its academic activities with five faculties: Arts, Basic Medical Sciences, Business and Social Sciences, Engineering, and Law. Over the years, the university has expanded.
