Knight-Hennessy Scholarship 2024/2025

Knight-Hennessy Scholarship is open to all. It does not have any restrictions based on age, college or university attended, field of study, or career aspirations.

This is an opportunity for you to study in the USA irrespective of where you are or come from. The funding provided will apply to the degree program(s) for which beneficiaries are selected at the time of their selection.

Eligibility criteria for the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship

Below are the requirements students are to meet to benefit from the Scholarship opportunities:

  • In addition to applying for the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program, you must also apply, be accepted into, and enroll in a full-time graduate degree program at Stanford University.
  • Priority consideration will be given to those applicants who plan to spend at least two years studying at Stanford University.
  • If an applicant is admitted to a degree program that exceeds three years, their funding will be based on the standard funding commitment of the graduate degree program.

Scholarship Value

Knight-Hennessy Scholars receive a fellowship to cover tuition and fees, a stipend for living and academic expenses, and a travel stipend for an annual trip to and from Stanford during each of the first three years of their graduate study.

Newly enrolling scholars will also be provided with a one-time relocation stipend to help with relocation expenses and technology purchases. Scholars in their second and third years have the option to apply for additional funds to support academic enrichment activities, such as conference travel.

Where and how to apply

If you are not a student yet, the starting point is to apply for application. There is no application fee for Knight-Hennessy Scholars, but you may still be required to pay any application fees imposed by your chosen graduate program when you submit your application to that program.

After, you have been admitted into the school as a bonafide student, we recommend reaching out directly to the graduate program’s contact or administration for more information.
